The four monocoque units provide a strong and minimal aesthetic, manufactured from GRP in a RAL colour of your choice. The sleek units rotate on a support and service structure, and are simple to install, whilst allowing for easy maintenance access.

Where is Vertebrae?
Vertebrae can be purchased directly from Design Odyssey and is available for viewing, via an appointment, at our contact address.
Throughout the development of the product, potential customers always insisted on seeing the product plumbed in and working in a true environment. Vertebrae has now been installed in a wet room in a newly built extension. This enables customers to view it in a proper setting and to see the unit functioning.
For peace of mind, throughout the development and post installation, we have consulted with builders and plumbers. This was to ensure everything is easily accessible for installation, connection and maintenance, and to adhere to best practice and regulations
Vertebrae Technical
Units:
The four units are handmade from 4mm thick GRP, in a matt finish. They have a closed footprint of only 950 x 380mm. The units independently rotate 90° around a discreet and robust aluminium support structure, with the storage unit rotating 360°. The 4 modules, are WC, Basin, Storage, and Shower. Standard colour is matt white. RAL colour of your choice is available at extra cost.
Guarantees:
Brassware with chrome plate finish, 5-year guarantee (monobloc mixer tap, 300mm circular shower head, thermostatic mixer, basin with clic-clac waste). Stainless steel basin 5 years. All plumbing parts 2 years.
Room size:
The existing room size shown has a footprint of (6’ x 4’) 1830mm long x 1220mm wide, with a ceiling height of (8’) 2440mm.
The floor space could be reduced to (5’) 1525mm long, and the ceiling could be as low as (7’3”) 2210mm.
Installation & maintenance:
The wet room must be tanked with a sloping floor and adequate drainage.
A hole in the floor about 200-230mm or 8”- 9” diameter is required for the plumbing. The hole centre is 280mm from the left wall and 380mm from the back wall.
Plumber to supply one hot and one cold pipe 15mm or ½” diameter size, through the hole in the floor.
Plumber to supply a 100mm or 4” size toilet waste connection, through the hole in the floor.
Plumber to fit drainage for the floor.
Weight approx. 80kgs. For wet room installation only. The support structure fits to the floor & ceiling.

Availability:
The product is available on a 6-8 week lead time, although can vary subject to orders in the system.
